COVID-19 Train the Trainers: Zakari led the training of 625 frontline health workers carefully selected from various departments of hospitals, PHC clinics, and private health facilities on Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) for COVID-19. This initiative boosted the confidence of health workers, reduced panic, and was recognized by WHO Health Emergencies. My Health Sure: He launched a sustainable, community-centered advocacy campaign focused on universal health coverage. This initiative has significantly improved health outcomes at the grassroots level, making essential health services more accessible to underserved populations.
At the Digital Innovation School of Health, Zakari brings his extensive expertise in public health, microbiology, health economics, and business to the classroom. The courses are designed to provide students with unconventional and practical skills and knowledge to address global health challenges effectively. Through innovative strategies and evidence-based practices, he aims to equip future health leaders with the tools needed to make a lasting impact on health outcomes in the world's most vulnerable regions.
