Dr. Japhet Erasmus AISONI graduated from Bayero University in Kano, Nigeria, with a Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology. A seasoned medical microbiologist, public health epidemiologist, and business development manager with over 14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and non-governmental sectors, he is also a passionate trainer and strategist.
He is a life member of Junior Chamber International (JCI) with JCI Senate Number 82220.
Currently, he is employed by the nonprofit organization Deep K. Tyagi Foundation Nigeria as the Middle Belt and Northeast Nigeria Regional Key Accounts/Wholesale Manager. Additionally, he is a visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Global Health and Infectious Diseases Control Institute (GHIDI) at Nasarawa State University in Keffi, Nigeria, where he lectures in the Department of Public Health.
Dr. AISONI provides consulting services to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) located in Abuja.
His qualifications include an HND in Science Laboratory Technology with a focus on Biology/Microbiology, a PGD in Biological Science, a PGD in Education, an MSc in Medical Microbiology, an MBA, an MSc in Public Health, and a Ph.D. in Microbiology with a focus on Medical Microbiology.
He is the author of 16 academic papers with 38 citations and 2 h-indexes. He has supervised over 17 postgraduate students and co-supervised 4 MSc candidates. He is the Managing Director of Image Medical Consultancy Service Nigeria Limited.
